Stabilize. Optimize. Grow. A Stronger Path Forward for a Complex Adobe Commerce Environment
BriteCommerce Success Story
Technologies
- Adobe Commerce, powered by Magento
- JD Edwards EnterpriseOne
The Client
A complex B2B commerce organization needed more than break-fix support. Operating Adobe Commerce alongside ERP integrations, customer-specific pricing, complex account structures, and a large product catalog, the client needed a partner that could support the broader commerce ecosystem.
Briteskies started by assessing platform health, integration risks, and priority improvements. That foundation helped stabilize ongoing support, optimize integration performance through modernization efforts, and expand the relationship into digital marketing support focused on growth. The result was a more structured, proactive approach to improving eCommerce operations over time.

Project Highlights
The Challenge
The client's eCommerce environment extended beyond the storefront. Adobe Commerce was connected to JD Edwards and supported complex B2B purchasing requirements. Recurring issues, limited visibility into integration failures, slow issue resolution, and frustration with a support model that lacked expertise across both commerce and ERP systems created operational challenges.
The client needed a partner capable of evaluating the entire commerce ecosystem, identifying priorities, and creating a practical roadmap for improvement. The goal was not simply to resolve individual issues, but to establish a stronger foundation for ongoing platform stability, optimization, and growth.
The Solution
The Briteskies Approach
Briteskies applied its BriteCommerce framework to guide the engagement. The work began with assessment and prioritization, expanded through ongoing support and optimization efforts, and evolved into a broader partnership focused on continuous improvement and growth.
Assess
Briteskies started with a structured review of the Adobe Commerce environment. Rather than immediately addressing individual issues, the team focused on understanding platform health, integration dependencies, technical debt, and business priorities.
The assessment process included reviews of the environment, integrations, site health, and operational risks, creating a shared understanding of what required attention and where the greatest opportunities existed. This foundation helped guide future stabilization and optimization efforts.
Stabilize
Following the assessment, the engagement expanded into ongoing eCommerce managed services. The client increased its investment in ongoing support as the relationship evolved, allowing more work to be focused on site improvements, new initiatives, technical development, and marketing efforts.
Briteskies established a more structured support model through regular reviews, backlog prioritization, and proactive monitoring. Weekly discussions around priorities helped ensure visibility into ongoing work and allowed priorities to shift as business needs changed. Proactive monitoring also enabled the team to identify and respond to site health concerns quickly.
Optimize
A significant proof point within the engagement was the modernization of the client's Adobe Commerce and JD Edwards integration strategy. The existing file-based integration approach created data synchronization challenges and lacked robust alerting and recovery capabilities.
Briteskies helped replace legacy file-transfer processes with API-driven integrations built through JD Edwards E1 Orchestrator. The project included nine APIs supporting catalog data, pricing, authorized products, customer information, order history, and invoice history.
The updated integration approach enabled more timely updates between systems, improved synchronization, enhanced visibility into failures through alerting, and allowed issues to be identified and addressed more efficiently.
Grow
As confidence in the platform increased, the relationship expanded beyond platform operations and integration support into digital marketing initiatives. The engagement included analytics improvements, Google Ads optimization, campaign management, and efforts designed to support traffic growth and customer acquisition.
Briteskies first updated and validated the client's GA4 environment to improve measurement accuracy. The team then reviewed and restructured paid advertising efforts, replacing a broad campaign approach with a more targeted Google Search strategy that could be measured using improved attribution and tracking.
The resulting Paid Ads campaign achieved a reported 1,041% ROAS, creating measurable return while providing the client with stronger visibility into marketing performance and opportunities for future optimization.
Review and refine
The engagement continued to evolve through ongoing planning, prioritization, and collaboration. As platform needs changed and new opportunities emerged, Briteskies and the client regularly reviewed priorities and adjusted roadmaps to maintain momentum.
This approach helped position the relationship as an ongoing partnership focused on continuous improvement rather than a series of disconnected projects.

Why the One-Partner Model Mattered
The client's challenges were interconnected. Platform performance, ERP integrations, ongoing support, and growth initiatives all influenced the overall success of the eCommerce operation.
Instead of relying on multiple vendors to manage different parts of the ecosystem, the client partnered with a single team capable of supporting Adobe Commerce, JD Edwards integration, managed services, and digital marketing initiatives. This enabled priorities to be aligned across teams and helped create a more cohesive path forward.
