Michael Berlin - Managing Member
As
the founder and a managing member, Michael Berlin has played
a major role in the growth and direction of Briteskies. Because
of his past consulting and large company experience, Briteskies
was created to correct many of the short comings of most companies
in the Information Technology Consulting industry. Through
his customer-focused vision Briteskies has been able to assemble
a group of people that believe in a team based environment.
Through this environment, Briteskies has been able to experience
significant growth while providing effective and profitable
solutions to both large and small companies.
Immediately prior to founding Briteskies in May 2000, Mike
Berlin was employed by Whittman-Hart / marchFIRST from 1998
through 2000 as an iSeries & Business Strategies Manager.
Michael possesses a very broad business and information technology
background including strategic planning, process improvement,
and system architecture. Michael is an IBM certified professional
and an expert on IBM’s iSeries platform and its related
products. Mr. Berlin’s previous employment includes
Westfield Insurance, 1991 – 1995, and New Resources
Corporation, 1995 – 1998.
Referred to by his friends and peers as a master networker,
Michael is an avid participant and supporter of entrepreneurial
and business organizations. As an active member and local
Board Member of the Entrepreneur's Organization (EO), a former
Board Member of COSE, the Council of Smaller Enterprises,
and current Board Member of the Northeast Ohio Software Association
(NEOSA), Michael is dedicated the continued growth and improvement
in Cleveland+ and of Northern Ohio.
Mike is a lifelong resident of Ohio and is a graduate of Youngstown
State University. He and his family are residents of Brecksville,
