Briteskies is located on the 17th floor of the Republic Building
in the Landmark Office Towers, a complex of buildings located at
the SW corner of the intersection of Ontario Street and Prospect
Avenue, just across from
the rear entrance of the Dillard’s department store (now closed).
A ground-floor lobby, common to the various towers in the complex
can be entered from the south side of (West) Prospect Avenue. The
complex can be entered
from Prospect Avenue or from the indoor access route through Tower
City Center. (See “Walking to Briteskies” section below
for further instructions.)
DRIVING DIRECTIONS
From Interstate 71 North / Interstate 90 East
(Note: I-71 North merges into I-90 East just before downtown; the
area is called Innerbelt.) Exit at Ontario Street (Exit # 171B).
The ramp will loop around under the expressway bridge and will deposit
you onto Ontario Street heading in the proper direction. Cross Carnegie
Ave. (Jacobs Field will be on your right). Continue along Ontario,
the next street you cross will be Huron Rd.,with Gund Arena on your
right and the Landmark Office Towers just ahead and to the left.
Your next move will be determined by where you choose to park.
From Interstate 77 North (to Cleveland)
Exit at East 9th Street/Ontario Street (Jacobs Field, Gund Arena).
Keep in the right-hand lane along the exit ramp. The ramp will loop
around to a stop sign. At the stop sign, turn right onto Orange
Avenue, which will become Ontario Street. You will be heading in
the proper direction (north). Your next move will be determined
by where you choose to park.
PARKING SUGGESTIONS (parking rates subject to change)
Self-Parking Options
SP1 - Gateway North Garage (operated by Ampco Parking Systems)
Daily Rate: $5.00. Get ticket from automated dispenser at entrance.
Pay attendant when exiting. This six story, salmon-coloredgarage
is located at the corner of Ontario Street and Huron Road –
just one block north of Gund
Arena. Traveling north on Ontario Street approaching Huron, stay
in the far right lane. Immediately after passing Huron, turn right
into the garage. There is another entrance from High Street. Once
inside, turn on your headlights
and proceed slowly around turns.
SP2 – Capco Parking Lot
Daily Rate: $5.50 if entering by 9.00am; $7.50 after 9.00 am. Higher
rates may apply on downtown event nights. This open-air lot is right
next to Gateway North garage described above. If the only spaces
available cause you to block another vehicle, you will be required
to leave your key with attendant.
SP3 – Tower City Center
Early-bird Rate: $6.00 (enter by 10.00 am and exit by 6.00 pm);
hourly rates apply with a maximum daily charge of $11.00. Take ticket
from dispenser and pay attendant when exiting. The entrance to the
self-parking complex
is immediately north of the Ontario Street/Huron Road intersection,
on the left-hand side of Huron. From Ontario Street, veer left onto
Huron (just past the Gund Arena) and take an immediate left through
the Tower City Parking
gate, which leads to a winding ramp that will take you down to the
parking area. Enter the Tower City mall and proceed to Briteskies
following the “Indoor Access” directions given below.
Valet Parking Options
VP1 – Tower City Center (Different location than above)
Maximum Daily Rate: $17.00 (first 2 hours $8; each additional hour
$1; maximum $17). The valet garage entrance is located in the alley
connecting West Prospect and Huron Road at Superior Ave. The alley
separates the MK
Ferguson building from FrankLausche building with the orange outdoor
sculpture. After leaving your car, enter the Tower City mall and
proceed to Briteskies following the “Indoor Access”
directions given below.
VP2 – Ritz Carlton Hotel
Maximum Daily Rate: $22.00 (0-2 hrs $10; 2-3 hrs $11; 3-4 hrs $12;
4-5 hrs $13; 5-6 hrs $14; 6-7 hrs $18; 7-24 hrs $22). From Huron
Road turn right onto West 3rd Street (one-way street) and pull up
to the canopied hotel entrance. Pay attendant at Guest Services
desk in hotel. After leaving your car, enter the Tower City mall
and proceed to Briteskies following the “Indoor Access”
directions given below.
WALKING
Outdoor Access to Briteskies (from SP1 and SP2)
Cross Ontario Street at Prospect Ave. and enter the Landmark Office
Towers (the complex that houses Briteskies) from the south side
of Prospect, just across from the rear entrance of the Dillard’s
department store. (LANDMARK
OFFICE TOWER below.)
Indoor Access to Briteskies via Tower City Center Shopping Mall
(from VP1, VP2 and SP3) Enter Tower City Center and proceed by escalator
to the Public Square level. Follow the corridor between the Bath
& Body Works and Casual Corner/Petite Sophisticate shops to
a set of glass revolving doors, the entrance to the Landmark Office
Towers. Enter and proceed up a short flight of stairs to the ground-floor
lobby. (LANDMARK OFFICE TOWER below.)
PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION OPTION
Visitors may opt to use the above-ground rail service, operated
by the Regional Transit Authority (RTA), connecting downtown Cleveland
with Cleveland Hopkins International airport and other points east
and west of downtown.
One-way fare is $1.50.Trains depart the airport every 20 minutes
or so and the travel time is roughly 20 minutes, comparable to taxicab
service. From the airport, take the RTA Red Line to Terminal Tower/Tower
City station. Proceed by escalator to the Public Square level. (LANDMARK
OFFICE TOWER below.)
LANDMARK OFFICE TOWER
From the ground-floor lobby to Landmark Towers, take the elevators
marked “Republic Building” to the 17th floor. If the
elevator button does not read “Wyse Adv.”, you are on
the wrong set of elevators. See the Briteskies receptionist to announce
your arrival.
